iPhone 6S Plus vs Nexus 6P – A Comparison

iPhone 6S Plus and the Nexus 6P were two devices that were talked about very much this year and being the flagships for their respective companies, they have every right to be. The devices have all the specs and features needed to be a true flagship and if you’re thinking about getting a new device after you sell iPhone or any other current smartphone you have, you have come to the right place. Here’s a feature comparison of the iPhone 6S Plus vs Nexus 6P:

Starting with the screen, the iPhone 6S Plus boasts of a 5.5 inch retina HD screen with full HD resolution churning out 401 ppi while the Nexus 6P comes with a 5.7 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 X 2560 pixels  which results in 518 ppi. The 6S has a 5 MP front camera with a retina flash while the back sports a 12 MP camera with 4k video recording. The Nexus 6P on the other hand sports an 8 MP camera on the front while the back sports a 12.3 MP camera which is not 4K video recording capable.

 

Under the hood, you’ll find the iPhone 6S Plus to be powered by the all new Apple A9 paired with 2 GB of RAM chip with an M9 motion sensor while the Nexus 6P is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810  chipset backed by 3 GB of RAM. The iPhone 6S Plus Houses a 2750 mAh battery to keep you going while the Nexus 6P houses a much larger 3450 mAh battery. The Nexus 6P also supports quick charging with USB Type-C which is absent from the iPhone 6S Plus.

iPhone 6S Plus boasts of the 3D Touch which makes use of a pressure sensitive screen to perform different functions based on how hard you press on the screen along with a fingerprint sensor present in the home button. The Nexus 6P however only has the fingerprint sensor located on the back. Both the smartphone stand a decent 7.3 mm thick. The iPhone 6S Plus however weighs more at 193 g while the Nexus 6P weighs 178 g. The iPhone 6S Plus starts from $749 for the 16 GB unlocked variant while the Nexus 6P 32 GB sets you back by $500 for the unlocked variant. The iPhone 6S Plus comes in the 16 GB, 64 GB and the 128 GB variant which is non expandable while the Nexus 6P comes in  32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variant which is also non expandable.
